Eyebolts & Single Point Anchors

We offer fixed and removable eyebolts ranging from the conventional mild steel galvanised variety to the more aesthetically pleasing stainless steel, through to the more subtle removable eyebolt.

Fall Arrest/Restraint eyebolts are typically used where access from inside a building is needed to carry out external work such as window cleaning or maintenance. Eyebolts may be fixed into floors, walls or ceilings providing a fixed anchor to which personnel can attach a lanyard in order to safely carry out their work.

Roofline Access Solutions offer fixed and removable eyebolts ranging from the conventional mild steel galvanised variety to the more aesthetically pleasing stainless steel, through to the more subtle removable eyebolt thus allowing the opportunity to choose a discrete window safety system without compromising interior design.

Fixing to concrete, masonry, steel work and timber eyebolts may be placed either internally or externally, depending on application, and may be used for fall restraint, fall arrest and for work positioning such as industrial roped access.

Pushlock Safety Eyeboltss

Pushlock safety eyebolts provide a discreet, yet highly effective alternative to conventional ones. While conventional eyebolts meet safety requirements, their aesthetics can impair the visual characteristic of their environment.

The Pushlock socket is permanently installed into the structure. When required, an employee can insert a Pushlock eyebolt into the socket to create a secure anchor.
The socket cover caps are available in a range of finishes, including:

  • Prestige brass
  • Stainless steel
  • White

Other colours are also available to order.

Types of eyebolts

Permanent Roof Anchors Permanent anchors for fall protection are typically used where access from inside a building is needed to carry out external work such as window cleaning or maintenance.

These systems are suitable for single users, trained to use a harness and lanyard and can be used in fall restraint and fall arrest.

Conventional Eyebolts Conventional eyebolts are available in a range of different finishes including

  • Galvanised steel
  • Stainless steel
  • White as standard

These will conform to Class A1 EN795 and BS7883.

Freestanding Weighted Anchors

On roof areas where it is not possible to have permanent means of edge protection or a safety line, an alternative option is Mobile man anchors. Mobile man anchors are a temporary solution for height safety requirements and are tested and approved in accordance with BSEN795 Type E, and as a result are required to be tested on an annual basis. Mobile man anchors should be visually inspected before using them, as they are transportable and therefore issues can occur with the system during transportation.
